Is Reality TV Going Too Far?

Today in society many people do not have little values and morals. Many television channels have programs based on real people and their lives. VH1 is a cable television channel that was created in January 1985 by Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment, at the time a division of Warner Communications and owners of MTV. VH1 and sister channel MTV are currently part of the MTV Networks division of Viacom.

This channel's programs are basically based on "old /one hit wonder" celebrities. Some of these celebrities reality shows are "Flavor of Love" based on hip hop group Public Enemies main MC rap superstar William Jonathan Drayton, Jr. aka "Flavor Flav". This show Flavor of Love was meant to be a dating game similar to The Bachelor. Although it was presented as a show were many women degraded themselves for this man. Even though it was meant to only have one season the show brought upon two new series called " I love New York 1and2" and also "Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School". These shows started the girls from the flavor flavs series.

Now although these shows have amazing ratings and are hilarious to watch, when are they going to show programs based on intelligent and educated people. Well VH1's new series's called "America's Smartest Model" in my opinion is still not going to cut it.
