ast night Myspace.com and MTV brought Arizona senator John McCain to Southern New Hampshire University to talk about his place in the 2008 presidential election. Now when many teens and American's think of the election the candidates running through their minds most likely are Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and possibly even Rudy Giuliani. Although John McCain is now the name on millions of voters mind's after his appearance on MTV/MySpace Presidential Dialogue which took place on December 3, 2007.
Senator John McCain was the first republican to be on the show. Before him two other candidates appeared on the show which were Barack Obama, and John Edwards. The event was broadcast live on MTV, MySpace, ChooseOrLose.com and on mobile devices via MTV Mobile; and translated live into Spanish via ImpreMedia's LaVibra.. Finally these companies are doing something to make a difference in our lives. In the previous years many Americans did not know very much about the candidates they were voting for, now they are able to know more information about what they plan to do. John McCain came opened the show with some laughter and jokes that he TRIED to present. McCain joked that he is “older than dirt” with “more scars than Frankenstein.” This loosened up the tough crown before him. McCain expressed that the questions from the young college students were "quality questions" this being said they students are becoming more aware of the issues in American and through out the world.
If interviews like this continue airing many of us Americans will be ready to vote for the right president, not the president that be hear more about or read more about. But the one who will be able to put America in the right direction!
